Hi! I’m Cedrea!

I’m a dedicated and nurturing caregiver with hands-on experience working with children from 3 months to 8 years old. As a current teacher aide, I actively support and care for children every day, creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment for them to learn and grow. I’m CPR/ first aid certified and trained, so your little ones’ safety is always my top priority. I also enjoy cleaning and preparing simple meals. I’m willing to drive children using the family vehicle.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Throughout school I took many children classes that taught me about all ages and how to help kids emotionally, physically, intellectually, and more. I am currently a teacher aid. I help take care of all children from babies to about 8 years old. I love what I do and i’m glad I get to help them grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing hands-on, creative activities indoors like arts and crafts, coloring, reading books together, sensory play, and simple learning games that help build early skills in a fun way. I also enjoy baking easy treats with kids and doing little dance or movement breaks to keep things active.

Outdoors, I love going on walks, playing at the park, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and simple sports or obstacle courses. I try to balance fun with learning and always keep things age appropriate and engaging!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important aspect of being a nanny is providing a safe, loving environment while supporting each child’s individual growth and development.

My experience with special needs children...

While my primary experience has been with typically developing children, I have also had the opportunity to work with children with special needs. In those roles, I focused on being attentive, adaptable, and responsive to each child’s unique requirements. I always provided individualized support, fostering a nurturing environment, and ensuring every child feels respected, understood, and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As an aide, I especially enjoy snack time, as it allows me to connect with the children through meaningful conversations and appreciate their creativity and sense of humor. Those interactions are often the highlight of my day.
