I am a very hands on sitter, depending on their age or interests I will do homework, art projects, play with toys ranging from Barbie to hot wheels, or go outside for a nice walk/trip to the play ground. I feel like it’s important to actually engage with the kids rather than stick them infront of the TV. However, there will be times we all gather around to watch a good movie like Coco.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is being attentive. Granted, some children need more attention than others who would rather do their own thing. But, it is the nanny’s job to make sure the parents wishes are bestowed upon the kids. If they say something at night or when they are with them, it’s the nanny’s job to make sure she does not go against that.
