I have worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for 2 year, and then as a nanny for a little less than a year. My overall child-care history I have been working with children for over 3 years as I was an ESL teacher for pre-K overseas!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to take kids to the park and let their imaginations run wild. I love reading books to kids, painting, coloring, and taking kids to the library and museums, zoos, aquariums, and gardens. I like playdates to keep the kids socialized and help kids navigate sharing and social skills. My favorite is introducing my culture to the kids by doing art work or language skills!
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is making sure the parents know their child is being well-taken care of. I make sure that children are heard and validated and are having the best time of their life ! Life is challenging when you've only been existing for a couple of years-- but a good set of people can drastically alter your life for the better. We need to invest in our kids, they are our futures.
