More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat siblings and cousins most of my child hood! Being older and pretty mature for my age my family always had faith and I would allow me babysit for money as a kid! I’ve always done multiple volunteer programs and traveled the world from Africa, South America and Asia on the Global Gap Year with Projects Abroad. I taught English, Nutrition with children in villages and even adults! I have Volunteered with animals and local villages all over. I have also interned at Twin Cities hospital in Templeton CA for three years. I worked in ER, OB and Med Surge.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outdoors! I would enjoy taking kids to the park, going on walks and fun adventure maybe even hikes. Arts and crafts are always fun. Building forts watching fun movies! I love to cook.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think one of the most important parts about being a nanny is to make a child feel super loved and nurtured. To have patience and understand each child individually without being disrespectful to a parent, but a helper being the eyes and ears for them! To make children feel safe and taken care of.
My experience with special needs children...
My mom was an on and off special needs teacher and taught sign language to help them better communicate with their families! So I have been around that a lot and have a soft spot in my heart for people who are very misunderstood and need a little extra help!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think their something very beautiful with kids imagination and they create worlds and just live in it and I love that. I would babysit my cousins and we would create forts and go on adventures and they just made me feel so loved and free. I love when kids just love so unconditional and just say sweet things.
