The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny isn’t just about watching kids it’s about building trust with both the children and the parents. This means being responsible, patient, attentive, and making sure the children are always supervised, engaged in positive activities, and treated with kindness and respect.
You also help children learn, play, and develop important life skills, whether that’s through games, reading, helping with routines, or simply being someone they can rely on every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a child learn something new and saw how proud they were of themselves. We were playing and practicing something they had been struggling with, and when they finally got it right, their face lit up with excitement. Moments like that make being a nanny special to me because I love seeing children grow, gain confidence, and have fun while learning

Babysitter Available in Pittsburgh, PA: Breanna M.
Hi! My name is Breanna, and I’m 18 years old. I’m currently pursuing a career in healthcare with the goal of becoming a nurse because I genuinely enjoy caring for others, especially children. I have four younger sisters and a big family with lots of younger cousins, so I’ve spent many years helping care for kids of different ages. Through those experiences, I’ve learned to be patient, responsible, and attentive while making sure children feel safe, happy, and supported. I’m dependable, caring, and love keeping kids engaged through games, crafts, outdoor activities, or helping with homework. I would love the opportunity to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your family!

Whether that be through art, movement, sensory experiences, or exploring them all outdoors, I do my best to meet every child where they’re at.

Babysitter Available in Pittsburgh, PA: Britynn S.
Hi! I'm a student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing pediatric nursing. I am looking to earn some extra money starting in May. I have been babysitting for neighbors and family friends since I was 13. I have a 5 year old brother and 3 year old sister that my mother adopted from birth. So, my experience ranges from preparing and feeding formula every 3hrs during the night, to teaching them how to ride a bike. Helping raise my siblings from birth was tough, but also so rewarding and helped me choose my career path I am working toward today. I have also had clinical experience in pediatric units, so I'm pretty well-versed when it comes to care for little ones.
