A little bit about me

Hi! I have worked with all ages starting from new born to 13 years old. I have my bachelors degree in Sports Science, but I have always known that I wanted to work with children. I have experience with various development disabilities, if that is needed. I love working kids, and am always complemented on how good I am with babies/kids even when they are losing their minds! I am available during the workdays from early morning to 6pm and some weekends. I am open to having a flexible schedule and would love to work with a family full time or part time! Although I am not currently certified in first aid and CPR, my last certification expired in 2021. I am also flexible with the pay range depending on needs, location, and hours!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a babysitter/nanny since I was 13 years old, and have worked with kids at camps, coaching, and adaptive sports.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing anything indoor or outdoor with kids. With the weather here most outside activities have to do evolve around water, but most activates will depend on age!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Knowing the family and the kids is the best thing you can learn as a nanny. Knowing the parents/guardians wishes is so so so important. Also knowing the protocols the family would like you to follow in case of emergency in your care.

My experience with special needs children...

I have only worked with special needs children involving adaptive sports, but I have worked in the development disability field my caseload just so happened to be adults.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It wasn’t during a nanny moment, but a moment of being a good auntie. My niece had RVS at 1.5, and she absolutely hated her breathing treatments. So when it came time to do another treatment, I made it into a fun game to where she wanted to put the mask over her face (even if it was only for a few seconds at a time) she was throwing a fit everytime she saw the treatment come out.
