A little bit about me

My name is Charlie and I am a 17-year-old high school student who absolutely adores spending time with and taking care of kids. As many people have told me, I have an extremely contagious laugh and I never fail to get the people around me cackling! I enjoy arts & crafts, music, painting, outdoor adventures, and I am ultra passionate about the preservation of our environment. Having fun and giggling is one of my strongest suits, however, I definitely pride myself in nurturing an environment that is not only rich with joy, but also safety and learning.

As an AP student, school has taken a top priority in my life and I have always advocated for the “work first play second” mindset, one that I have found works very well! If your kids need any help with homework or just extra academic help in general, I would be happy to provide that for them. Additionally, I love love love to cook and would be happy to grocery shop and cook healthy lunches/dinners for the entire family.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience babysitting children from ages 9 months to 12 years old. I also have experience in down syndrome and autism care as I have cared for a 3-year-old with down syndrome in the past.

I currently work once a week at the Ladera Ranch Kumon Math and Reading Center where I grade assignments and occasionally work with the students as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with a 3-year-old girl with down syndrome and am extremely well rounded in care for severe ADHD as I have a brother who is impacted by it. I also work with the special needs students at my high school and had previously worked with the special needs students at my elementary school and middle school as well.
