In terms of experience, I’ve worked as a lifeguard for four years, where I was responsible for ensuring the safety of children and families in a high-energy environment. I also volunteer weekly with Kids Crew at Primary Children’s Hospital, where I get to spend time interacting with children in a hospital setting—offering comfort, play, and companionship. On top of that, I was recently accepted into the Pediatric Clinical Research minor at the University of Utah, where I’m deepening my understanding of children’s health and development. These experiences have all strengthened my commitment to working with kids and pursuing a future in healthcare.

Some of my favorite activities to do with children include playing pretend (everything from superheroes to tea parties!), going on fun outings like visiting museums or local parks, spending time outside exploring nature, and getting creative with arts and crafts. I believe in nurturing imagination, encouraging curiosity, and making each day engaging and fun.
