Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with kids of all ages. I gained experience working with kids who have autism as a Registered Behavioral Technician. Additionally, I have nannied and babysat for many of families in Whitefish Bay Wi and other near by areas. I have worked with adolescents in a Day Treatment program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing activities that are both fun and meaningful. Arts and crafts are one of my favorites because they let kids be creative and express themselves, and I always enjoy outdoor play—whether it’s going to the park, playing tag, or just exploring nature. From my experience working with children in behavioral therapy and day treatment programs, I’ve learned that things like sensory play, puzzles, and simple cooking activities are great ways to engage kids while helping them build focus and confidence. Most of all, I like getting to know each child’s interests and tailoring activities to what makes them happy—whether that’s building with Legos, reading stories, or playing pretend. I try to keep things positive, structured, and full of encouragement.

The most important part about being a nanny is building strong, trusting relationships with the children and their families. I love being someone kids feel comfortable and excited to see, and knowing that I can bring a sense of fun, safety, and consistency into their day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician in Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments while nannying was with a child who often had a hard time regulating their emotions. We spent a lot of time practicing calm-down techniques through play, like taking deep breaths or using sensory toys. One day, I saw them use those same strategies on their own after getting frustrated—and they proudly told me they ‘did it without help.’ It was such a heartwarming moment because it showed that the patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement we’d been working on were really making a difference. Seeing a child grow emotionally like that reminds me why I love working with kids.
