Hi, name is Charlotte! I am a sophomore at the University of Iowa majoring in Therapeutic Recreation with goals to be a Child Life Specialist! While in school I am an assistant teacher at an inclusive daycare, working primarily with children under 3. I have over 7 years of experience in childcare and am child, infant, and adult CPR and first aid certified! I have experience working with infants, up until 13 years of age, as well as working with children who have developmental and physical disabilities. I love animals, keeping a clean home, and being useful wherever I can be! In my free time I love to travel, read, bake and spend time with friends and family! I am an assistant teacher at a daycare in Iowa City! I work primarily with children under 3. I also have been babysitting/nannying for various families for over 6 years. In the past I have also been an assistant dance teacher, working with children under the age of 10.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts and being able to see the kids creative sides! I also enjoy cooking/ baking and getting the children involved!

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with various developmental disabilities such as ADHD, down syndrome and autism, as well as children with physical disabilities. I have experience with administering G-Tube feedings.
