I have worked as a teacher over 11 years educating ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Presently certified to teach, ages 0-3. I am personally and professionally experienced with children that have ASD, ADD and other physical and developmental disabilities and or challenging behavior. I have experience as a nanny as well.

I enjoy messy creative play such as water play and painting. Story telling with puppets, creating age appropriate science/sensory experiences.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part to me of being a nanny is safety. Keeping the child or children physically safe by protecting them from hurt, harm and danger. Always active supervising the child, allowing room for independence but providing the needed help and care.
My experience with special needs children...
Including mothering my own special needs children who are aged 8 and 13 and have ASD and permanent hearing loss and vision impairment. Teaching children with Autism, ADD, ADHD, history of seizures, heart and breathing conditions for over 11 years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is learning to ride a bike that had the child seat on the back to ride around the park chasing squirrels.
