Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a Lead Program Support Specialist at schools called ASPIRA Inc of Illinois. And I would purchase supplies for the after-school programs and make sure that the instructors would get them. I also would engage with the students in the events that I helped set up. I would set up decorations and help set the games and food up on the tables provided. And which ever table I would mend, I would communicate with the students.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to paint/color with children. I also like going to the park with the kiddos. But if we are inside I like to play with them with their toys.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure that the kiddos are safe, fed, and are having fun.
My experience with special needs children...
I actually don’t have a lot of experience with special needs children. I’ve just started babysitting a child with special needs a week ago. But I’m not familiar with the process all the way. Like with feeding her, she is fed through a feeding tube. But I only watched her for like an hour a day unless they needed me in the afternoon as well for another hour. I will say that I am willing to learn.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Well, my favorite moments are when they are laughing. I am a person that loves when everyone laughs. But also when I paint and color with the kids that I watch makes it fun and interactive.
