A little bit about me

With nearly 10 years of childcare experience, I consider myself an expert in my field. I can provide psychologically based milestone assessments, growth and development plans, and much more. I have helped raise my own nephews, I have been a preschool teacher for 20 3-year-olds and a nanny for multiple families through my career, tutor, as well as assisting in a special needs daycare. With all of this in mind, I know I can provide the specialized care your family needs. Personally, with 4 nephews and 5 nieces, I find myself in so many unique situations with each of them that have only helped me grow as a care taker. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology which can be extremely helpful in understanding the growth and milestones of both children and adults. Being with children, teaching them, and watching them grow is my passion. I'm hoping to find a family in need of a nanny that would love to help your family grow. Thank you for taking the time to look over my profile!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have paid professional experience of nearly 10 years in childcare- including: babysitting, nannying, tutoring, and special needs education care. I also have nearly 20 years of personal experience. Today, with 4 nephews and 5 nieces (ranging in age from 10 months to 19 years), I find myself in so many unique situations with each of them that have only helped me grow as a care taker. I have experience as a tutor, a preschool teacher, an in-home nanny - as well as the extensive personal experience talked about above! I have experience with all ages - I was a floater in a 6-week to 12-year old school and tutored extensively through high school and college while nannying.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts!! This is my sweet spot - I have so many supplies and a ton of ideas for different skill levels. I can converse in basic Spanish and love integrating this into my childcare to form early language connections. I enjoy playing in a garden or getting a little dirty sometimes. I tend to focus my activities on the age and personality of the child(ren)!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love getting to help another family. I like being a part of the "village" it takes to raise children and I get so much fulfillment from it. The most important part of being a nanny though is communication. Fully understanding what the family wants, and understanding if I can provide that to the best of the ability is my main goal. I thrive as a nanny when I can use my own teaching and communication methods with children that I discuss ahead of time with parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience as a part time helper in a special needs classroom of around 10-15 children. I have experience with all ranges of autism, as well as experience with down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, behavioral issues, learning disabilities, adhd and some other special needs. I also have nanny experience with a diabetic child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I came in on a Monday morning and the mother told me how her son said he missed me over the weekend and had asked how long until he got to see me again. He was 3 and the cutest thing - he got shy and hid behind his mom's legs a bit until we laughed it off together, I got in his level, and hugged him and told him I missed him too.

For funniest moment, it was the same family and his older sister (7) was listing all the things she was scared of. The boy looked at her wide eyed and said "are you afraid of ghost trucks!?". She followed it up with a blank stare for a moment and then lifting another finer and saying "and I'm scared of ghost trucks". It was so funny and such a cute bonding moment.

Arrey E. - Seeking Work in Kennesaw

Babysitter Available in Kennesaw, GA: Arrey E.

Hi! My name is Arrey Enow. I recently graduated from Princeton University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude this spring, and I’m looking to earn some extra income before moving to New York City this fall.
I’ve always loved working with children and have years of experience caring for younger siblings, cousins, and family friends. I also taught Sunday school throughout high school and college, giving me experience working with children of different ages and managing multiple kids at once.
I attended Harrison High School and grew up in the Acworth/Kennesaw area, so I’m very familiar with local parks, libraries, activities, and family-friendly spots around town.
I’m responsible, patient, and dependable, and I’d love the opportunity to help care for your children this summer. Looking forward to connecting!
