She is extremely attentive, very organized and professional, keeps a log of diapers/bottles/naps and any special circumstances on a particular day. She is very detail oriented, and never hesitates to reach out via your preferred communication method to inform you of anything that you may be missing or running low on.
When it comes to her interaction with the baby, she is so patient and gentle, and engages your baby with age appropriate activities. Every time we entered the room and our baby was not sleeping she would either be reading a book, singing and dancing, developing some mobility or curiously examining a toy or puzzle.

Outside of professionally caring for kids over the years I am also a mom of two! My son is 6 and my daughter is 16. Maybe you’ll consider my personal experience as a mom counts for something? Especially with this huge age difference between them :)
While my years of professional experience provide the framework, being a mom myself definitely provides the heart. With this 10 year age gap between my kids, I guess you can say that I’ve essentially completed two “residencies” in child development!

The use of music for example to encourage free movement and listening skills, art and craft activities incorporating child-safe materials to sharpen creativity, math related activities such as practice counting and puzzles, sound guessing games, feeling and identifying various textures, sorting and matching activities, practical life activities such as learning to zip, button, fasten, buckle and tying, phonics, letter and number recognition and activities that focus on science and nature.
When outdoors I allow for exploration, connecting with nature and developing independence and social skills. Some favorites include outdoor art with the use of natural materials, scavenger hunts, nature walks, park play, light gardening, caring for animals and playing with materials that allow for sensory development such as playing with sand, water, mud etc.
