More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy visiting the park, going for hikes/walks, making arts/crafts, playing musical instruments, and doing other hands-on activities. We generally do not use screens in my household.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of working with children is learning about their brain development, so their needs can be met at an appropriate level. I respect children's autonomy and encourage their agency as often as possible. I also believe in respecting family culture, so communication with parents is critical.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A boy was curious about trees, so we talked about pinecones and how they could make many new trees from the seeds inside. After showing him how to plant a seed in the ground, we discussed it needing water, and he suggested he spit on it. I told him it would require more water than that, but I still giggle about children's creative imaginations.

Hi my name is Angel and I just recently put in my two weeks at my job working at the courthouse in Taos after being on Maternity leave.
