A little bit about me

Hi my name is Chestine Mcmullen. I am a mother of three and a grand mother of eight, I have been in the state of Mississippi for seven years, I am originally from a small town in Indiana where I was born and raised. I enjoy keeping my grand children, swimming roller skating, watching movies, cooking reading, and a lot of other things. I just recently moved here to Jackson MS from Greenwood MS to find work. I worked for Milwaukee Tools in Greenwood for 6 years and i was let go while on medical leave. I loved my job because for me working is a peace of mind. I have always wanted to be a caregiver but never took the time to go to school for it. I think I do a fantastic job at watching children .When my three were coming up, I always had other peoples kids at my house during school nights coming to get help with homework, and on weekends if their parents were working or wanted to spend quality time with one another. I feel this job would be a great fit for me because I enjoy children.

I use to volunteer to go on trips to help with kid's at the boy's and girl's club. I have also babysitted for a couple that worked the evening shift for four years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities would be more like teaching and helping with homework, depending on child's age. Playing board games or even playing games where we'd have to guess different thing's, them helping me bake cookies, or something to that nature. Outdoor time would include going to the park, walking the trail, playing kick ball, swimming, play basketball,hide and seek, hopscotch, or whatever it is to make their lives fun and enjoyable.

Giving them time and attention and love and care that they need.
