I have worked in pickens school district for 2 years now with kids ages 4-18! I also have a nephew who is 4 I have helped raise since he was an infant. And I've been looking after friends and family's kids since I can remember!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking them outside to play in the water, or sand, or even just with their toys! My oldest nephew believes anything can be a ramp so he takes his monster trucks everywhere he goes!! I love when they get creative with just the things they have because imagination is so important especially now days with all the technology! I will sit on the floor and color, play with trucks or dolls or any kind of toys all day long!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kiddos know they are safe, taken care of, and can have fun and be kids and the parents know that they have found someone they can trust with their children!
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have any experience with special needs children. I have never had the opportunity to work with them expect for when i was in high school and those kids were 15-18 years old.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching how they grow and seeing the kiddos they really become as they age even if it's just a year they change so much and so fast!
