A little bit about me

Hello, I am Cheyenne. I am a veteran teacher of 16 years and a mother of two. As my children have grown old enough to be more self-reliant, I am interested in returning to my first love of teaching or childcare as an alternative to classroom teaching. Before children, I was a nanny for 2 families in Savannah, GA. I have won numerous awards, including Best Kid's Language Classes for the entire Southeast and Small Business Rockstar Award from the State of Georgia. I also have 15 years of formal classroom teaching experience and 2 years of teaching experience at Athens Technical College and Savannah Technical College. I am currently working on renewing my state certification in Spanish, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Art, and Teaching English Language Learners. As I apply for formal teaching roles, I am also very interested in working with a family as an alternative to classroom teaching. I am passionate about supporting the next generation with empathy & bespoke care.
