One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when one of the children I cared for had been struggling with reading. We spent extra time each day practicing together, using different techniques and resources to make it fun and engaging. After a few weeks of dedication, I watched as they finally grasped a concept and read a full sentence aloud with excitement and confidence. Seeing their face light up with pride and accomplishment was incredibly rewarding and reminded me of the impact I can have in their lives.
