The most important thing about being a nanny is creating a space where kids feel safe, loved, and truly cared for. I focus on being patient, dependable, and someone they can trust, while making their days feel fun, calm, and full of comfort.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a a TA for two years in middle school for the life support class during their dance class working with kids with different disabilities. I have also babysat a teenager with down syndrome for a whole year spending 8 hour days all week babysitting her.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I always love seeing the kids I babysit do what they love and learning along with them and hearing about their lives! Another thing I love is when I can be their comfort especially at bedtime, it’s my favorite to sing lullabies, read stories, and make sure they are feeling safe and cozy before bed.
