The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is so much more than just being someone to watch children, while the parents are away. It means to help them grow and learn to love and accept the world they are growing in. As a nanny you teach them, from a young age, that love and nurture are the best values you can instill in someone. And my goal is to do that for as many children as I can, because compassion should be spread to others.
My experience with special needs children...
I have help care for children diagnosed with Autism, Dyslexia, and Down Syndrome. I understand to be patient and kind-hearted, as I grew up taking care of two cousins diagnosed with some of the special needs listed above.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Cooking is one of my favorite memories, as it teaches children to create and understand why things do the things they do! Science plays a HUGE role in this, and I for one enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they realize that their masterpieces have come to surpass.
