I’ve been babysitting since 2015 for family, friends, and local families in my community. I’ve cared for children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids. In addition to babysitting, I also have experience working in a daycare setting where I assisted with group activities, meal times, diaper changes, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. My responsibilities included supporting children’s development through play, learning, and structure. I’m also a mom, so I have full-time, hands-on experience caring for a child daily.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel comfortable and valued. Building a strong, positive relationship based on patience, understanding, and consistent care helps children thrive emotionally and developmentally. Being attentive to their needs and supporting their growth every day is what makes this role so meaningful.

I have a little experience working with special needs children from my time at a daycare. During that time, I helped support children with developmental delays and behavioral challenges by following individualized care plans, using patience, and creating a calm, supportive environment. While I’m not deeply specialized, I’m open, understanding, and always willing to learn more to provide the best care possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny is when the child is happy, calm, and fully engaged in play. Seeing them laugh, explore, and feel safe in their environment brings me so much joy. It’s in those quiet, playful moments that I know they feel comfortable and cared for and that’s the most rewarding part of the job for me.
