I helped my older sister raise her 2 oldest girls from birth until 2 years old and watched any of my nieces and nephews. I also have a 4 year old son I have been raising also.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I will let my child run and play and do what he wants within reason and permission. I let my child let out his creative side and we watch movies try to watch movies..... but 9 times out of 10 he wants to watch educational shows.

To me is to actually sit there and get to know these kids there are not just clients they are humans being too.
