The most important part about being a nanny to me, is to always do what is in the best interest of the child while creating a loving atmosphere for the child/children to thrive. Knowing how to set healthy boundaries with children, but making sure they feel loved and they know you are someone they can depend on, and keep them safe.

I think one of my favorite moments I get to experience as a nanny are those times when it really dawns on me how special my bonds are with the children in my care, and how much we love each other. Another great moment to experience is seeing a child apply things I have taught them in their every day life... whether that be using a new word I taught them in a sentence, exhibiting a new skill, or overcoming a fear that I've been working on with them.
