More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve babysat for family members since I was ten years old, but I’ve helped care for babies since I was as young as seven years old. While I do have more than one family member with autism, I am not trained for that specific kind of care. I took care of my niece for two months, where I sleep trained and potty trained her.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities I love doing with kids include painting/arts and crafts, hide and seek, board games, movies, diy games, etc. I also love going to the park and doing physical activities outdoors with children.

The most important part about being a nanny is being part of a child/family’s village and having a place in helping children grow up to be amazing and respectable people who treat others decently.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children is very limited, I only have worked with able bodied/neurotypical children, but I have two siblings with autism as my experience dealing with people with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when my kids communicate with me even when they’re having a tantrum or a bad day. Even though they aren’t having the most positive feelings, they’re still willing to talk them out and they trust you enough to work through those emotions and tell you what they need from you to make things better.
