A little bit about me

Hey there, I’m Christy, I am a mom of two school aged children, and I have worked in a licensed center the past three years as an infant teacher. My current center is closing and it’s incredibly challenging to find lead, or any, infant teacher positions, which is where my passion truly lies. With that being said, it’s also difficult to find infant care in the Ellsworth area, which is what I’d love to offer to you as a nanny! I’d love to provide one to one care, or one to two/three care if there are older siblings, for your little one. As your nanny I would not only provide every day routine care, but I would also teach them baby sign, plan activities to help promote their development, bring them to community events, and keep your home clean.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Infant and toddler teacher since September 2022. I have filled in and helped train as a lead teacher in the jr preschool room as well. I have been passionate about childcare since I was 15 and have taken numerous child development courses since high school including courses on baby sign, health and safety, blood borne pathogens, I'm CPR first aid certified. I’m knowledgeable on both breastfeeding and formula feeding, transitioning to purées or BLW, daily activities to encourage meeting milestones.

I started my journey at Jumpin’ Jax Childcare and then The Learning Garden that sadly closed September of 2025
