Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At the age of 16 I volunteered my time after school to watch children ages 10-12 at a school for whenever there was a parent teacher meeting. I would watch them in the gymnasium and keep them busy and feed them snacks. At the age of 17 I was a live in nanny for a family friend for 2 years. I have experience in meal prep, laundry duties, chores, cleaning, getting the children ready each morning and each night, and enjoyed spending time with them doing activities. I also volunteered my time for a year in a group home for troubled youth ages 10-16years of age. I also cared for 2 toddlers whom I live with because of a family member. I have experience with childcare from new born to 16 years of age. I love kids, and enjoy making them laugh and be happy. I’ve been around kids for as long as I can remember and I enjoy spending time with them.

The most important part about being a nanny is being and making a safe and nurturing environment where the children trust you and have a loving relationship with. It’s important to treat them as your own because I believe it helps them grow as a person with that loving environment. Helping children growing up and seeing them grow up is what I enjoy as a nanny.
