To me, the most important part is keeping the kiddo safe! But also letting them be kids, just playing and having fun.

I worked for a family who had a fully disabled daughter. Working for them I was responsible for feeding, bath time, laundry, getting her dressed, going to doctors appointments, doing activities to keep her entertained, helping with physical therapy at home, and numerous house hold chores.

By far, my favorite moment in childcare is the moment you teach them something that doesn’t seem like a big deal to most people. But to them, it’s the coolest thing! When they’re eyes light up and they get really excited about it and it’s now the best thing!
