I have helped out with all my younger siblings. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I work in my church nursery. I also teach swim lessons for childen ages 6 months to 14 years old.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe one of the most important things when being a nanny is to be a good example to the children. Children learn by example. I also believe that when being a nanny you need to be involved with the children. Interact and connect with them. Play games, do crafts, go to the park, show the kids you are interested in them. I think another thing that can be a struggle with some people is saying no to the children. A nanny is here to take care of the children and make sure their needs are being met, not to give them everything they want.
My experience with special needs children...
The only experiece I have with special needs is autism, ptsd, rad, add, and adhd. But I would love to learn more!
