My experience with special needs children...
I worked 3 years on and off with kids aged 3-6 years old on the autism spectrum. I worked at an Applied Behavioral Analysis Center called Autism Care Partners on the East Coast as a Lead Behavior Technician. As a Behavior Technician I worked one-on-one with the kiddos on communication, social, and cognitive skills. Pairing was a huge part of this job so I got the oppertunity to bond with kids with so many different personalities and interests which was amazing!
