I worked for the Santa Ana Unified School District as an after-school aid. In this role, I tutored students and assisted them with their homework. My primary responsibilities included ensuring that all students were on task and making sure they returned home safely. I have also worked as a medical assistant in a pediatric office in Tustin, I have experience caring for children with special needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My kids and I love spending time together. We often go to the playground, do grocery shopping, and have spontaneous Disney dates. But our favorite activities are dancing, watching Bluey, and watching Blippi and Meekah.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What truly matters to me are a few things. First and foremost, I want you to trust me and my abilities to care for your babies. Secondly, I want your babies to trust me and feel comfortable talking to me and confiding in me with anything. They should know that I’ll be there for them when mom and dad can’t be present every moment. Lastly, I want them to know that they are loved and cared for, even if I’m not their biological family member. I want them to feel heard and understood. My patience for them will never wane.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children with autism. My daughter had a medical condition called ventricular septal defect, which piqued my curiosity and led me to pursue a career in the medical field. Since then, I have continuously expanded my knowledge and skills in caring for children of all types.
The most important part about being a nanny...
We are a huge Disney family, and honestly, my favorite moments that will forever stay with me are witnessing the excitement my kids get even before we arrive at Disney. My daughter can sense when we’re nearing the parking structure and she’ll exclaim, “Disneyland! Yay!” Just to see the pure joy on their faces will always be my favorite.
