Good morning🌞, it is nice to meet you. My name is Chrissy and I am 50 years old. I am a mother of two wonderful 20+-year-olds. I raised my children by myself and they have turned out to be very responsible, loving, empathetic and intelligent adults. I just started back at graduate school majoring in biotechnology/MBA. My bachelors’ degree was in psychology .I also just started flying lessons to get my pilot’s license.

I have been working as a nanny for almost 4 yrs taking care of ,now, a 2 & 4 year old. It has been an absolute wonderful experience & I really care for their family & love & care for the children as my own and treat them as such.

I am an extremely loyal, patient, loving, caring, empathetic and intelligent person. I am a great multitasker. I have always been very good with children and animals, as well as all people. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been trained as a nurse, a lifeguard and a veterinary technician/surgical specialist, so I will be able to take care of your children as well as your pets very well. I have been certified in first aid and CPR several times, however, my certification has expired, but I will be certified upon request in first aid and CPR by the time I am hired by you or within the first month, if immediate hiring is necessary. I have raised my own children who are now 25 & 27 years old. My son suffered severely with developmental disorders, which I seeked help for at age 2, and I did all the trial and error work for you if you are dealing with the same issues, I might have additional info for you. (According to only what I have experienced myself or fully researched in medical journals and doctors).

I have been a nanny for almost 5 years now, and it has been the most rewarding of all of my careers and experiences in my life. The children I watch were 4 months and one year old when I was hired.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have always loved creating fun, engaging, & educational experiences for children. I enjoy spending time both indoors & outdoors, taking long walks, visiting the park twice a day, exploring nature, & turning ordinary days into adventures. I believe every activity is an opportunity to learn, so I naturally incorporate age-appropriate lessons into our daily routines. We read books together, complete learning activities to prepare for school, & enjoy coloring, drawing, painting, puzzles, crafts, & creative projects that build imagination & confidence.

I also enjoy helping children build social skills through playdates & positive interactions with other children. I provide a safe, nurturing environment where children feel encouraged to ask questions, explore, & discover the world around them. My goal is for every child to come home happy, confident, & excited to share something new they learned that day. I take pride in making every day fun, educational, & enriching.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is making sure the children in my care feel safe, loved, happy, & comfortable while creating an environment where they can learn, grow, & thrive. I believe every day should be a new adventure filled with learning, creativity, laughter, & exploration. I hold an AA in Political Science, a BS in Psychology, and I am graduating with my second BA in Legal Studies, each graduating Summa Cum Laude,w/ a 3.8-4.0 GPA. I am pursuing law school in 2027. I also have more than 5 years of nursing experience caring for both people & animals, giving me strong knowledge of health, safety & first aid.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments as a nanny are the ones where I see a child’s face light up after learning something new. There is nothing more rewarding than watching them understand a new concept, master a new skill, or become excited about the world around them. I believe every day is an opportunity to learn, whether we’re reading a book, exploring nature, visiting the park, doing arts & crafts, or simply asking questions about the things we see around us.

I love turning everyday activities into adventures filled with curiosity, creativity & discovery. I encourage children to think, ask questions, solve problems & build confidence while having fun. I believe in teaching kindness, respect, honesty, empathy, patience & responsibility through both words and example.
