I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Alamance in Graham, North Carolina, in which I graduated with honors.
I have been a substitute teacher for the Mooresville Graded School District and an Assistant Teacher in the Alamance County Schools. I have privately tutored and taken care of elementary and preschool children intermittently from 1981 to present.

I was teaching a 1 year old, vocabulary. When his parents got home from work. He was saying lots of new words. Just kidding, I told the parents that tomorrow it will be the word, hippopotamus. We all laughed, the next day, he was saying it.
