I was a peer tutor all through high school, I have volunteered in special ed programs, I was a swim instructor last summer for all ages. I have four little brothers, I have been nannying for the ski resorts in the winter, I was a camp counselor, and I currently work in a treatment center for youth on the autism spectrum.

My experience with special needs children...
I was a peer tutor in highschool, I worked in developmental centers, I was an in home care giver for a teenage girl with down syndrome, I taught special ed children when I was a swim instructor, my brother falls on the autism spectrum, I was a buddy for a special needs church group, I was a camp counselor for children with autism, and I currently work in a treatment center for youth on the autism spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when I was doing a puzzle with a little girl and she was just so happy that I was willing to do the puzzle with her, she had such a big smile and was just so happy to be doing the puzzle. It really made me think about how many little things I take for granted and how many things there are to be happy about.
