As a little girl I first got involved in childcare while helping out in my mother’s Sunday school classroom. There I had early experience with autism and classroom management. From then I volunteered in Infant nursery as well as young toddlers through grade school. Outside of volunteering, I have been a babysitter all my life. In high school I spent time in our preschool child development lab where I learned lesson plans and individual student plans for the classroom. In college I studied Special Education and General Education. I then went on to become a hair stylist, where the best of both worlds met as I became a stylist for the children of my clients. As an Aunt, I’ve had a heavy hand in raising my niece and nephew from birth, giving me vast knowledge on childcare and development. Since, I’ve been a private nanny involved in raising an infant - a task in itself- and managing school schedules, mealtime, housekeeping and light laundry, extracurricular activities and of course fun!

Arts and crafts, playgrounds and parks, museum's, zoo’s, library trips, trampoline parks and my favorite - coffee/kids cafe!
My experience with special needs children...
Non professional experience as a young girl that opened my eyes to the world of special needs. As an Adult, college education courses where I studied cognitive and imperative studies. I’ve volunteered at the Special Olympics. And have had clients with special needs in my time as a hair stylist.
