More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to my nanny experience, I have over 14 years of experience caring for children in preschool and childcare settings. I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children, providing daily care, planning educational and enrichment activities, supporting social and emotional development, preparing meals and snacks, maintaining safe environments, and communicating regularly with parents. My experience has helped me become patient, dependable, organized, and able to adapt to each child’s individual needs and personality.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love planning activities that are both engaging and educational. Some of my favorite things to do with children include arts and crafts, reading books together, sensory play, outdoor adventures, nature walks, building with blocks and STEM toys, baking simple recipes, music and dance, imaginative play, and age-appropriate science experiments. I also enjoy doing puzzles, board games, and educational activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independence. My goal is to make learning fun while creating positive, lasting memories with the children in my care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and dependable environment where children feel secure and supported. Children thrive when they know they are cared for by someone they can trust. Beyond keeping them safe, I believe a nanny should encourage learning, help build confidence and independence, and support each child’s emotional, social, and developmental growth. I also believe that maintaining open, honest communication with parents is essential so everyone works together as a team to provide the best care possible.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with special needs in both childcare and educational settings. Every child is unique, so I focus on learning their individual strengths, routines, communication style, and specific needs. I believe in being patient, consistent, and creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel understood and encouraged. I work closely with parents to follow care plans, maintain routines, and use strategies that best support each child’s development and well-being.

Madeleine A. - Seeking Work in Baltimore

Live-In Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Baltimore, MD: Madeleine A.

Hi! My name is Maddy, and I am a young woman originally from Boston. I have about 2 years of childcare experience in both city and remote (ocean) environments. I have my B.S. in Recreation Management and have worked in Outdoor Education for a year and a half, as a nanny for 3 months(summer gig), and as a park ranger for a total of a year. My style of care involves hands-on learning and play, whether that is trips to the park or museum or arts and crafts at home. I am CPR and Wilderness First Responder Certified with a clean driving record. I came to Baltimore for a seasonal outdoor education position and will be transitioning from that position at the end of November, but I have fallen in love with the city and would love to stay and continue working with kids! I hope you will consider me to be trusted with your children's care.

Diana K. - Seeking Work in Baltimore

Part-Time Nanny Available in Baltimore, MD: Diana K.

Hello! My name is Diana, and I am almost 23 years old. I recently moved to Baltimore and will be starting pharmacy school at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy this fall. Before classes begin, I’m looking for a nannying opportunity where I can continue doing something I genuinely enjoy—working with children.

I attended a Montessori school for the first 13 years of my education, and during my sophomore year of high school I began helping there over the summers. What started as volunteering grew into becoming a teaching assistant, and for the past 5–6 years I’ve worked with children ranging from 11 months old through high school age.

Although my career is taking me into healthcare, caring for and supporting children has always been something I love. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun!
