Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My 1st job was working in a day care center. My class was made of 23 - 2year olds. Two they say are the best age to work with. I also worked as a teacher assistant at an elementary school working with 2nd and 3rd graders as well as playground supervisor. Not to mention raising 6 kids of my own and still at it.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts. Painting is my favorite. Might not be the best but I love making items stand out.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The best part I get out of this is knowing I helped another parent. I know how work and the need for children supervision is important. Just know that with me your child/ren will be cared for. The best part is the love and respect I gain not only from the parents but your children.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven't worked with special needs. But those special ones that I did come across, I was patient and kept a low tone as I know they can get overwhelmed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I will never forget when working in the daycare how 3 others an myself would get 23 - 2year olds down to nap. Some cant even get 1 down. I mastered a trick that not only works on kids but adults too. (Yawning... its so contagious)
