Is maintaining a healthy understanding and connection with a child. Also understanding the child's behavior pattern which comes over time when spent more time with the child.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a special needed child as my own child while I was a professional for two years. This child was my full responsibility at all times during the school hours. I've deescalated temper tantrums, fights, safety hazards accidents and showed compassion with healthy boundaries. I've worked with adults who have special needs and patience is always the key to everything as well as compassion mixed with healthy boundaries.

One of my favorite nany moments was hearing the first words of an 8 month old beauty say yellow. 💓 Seeing a precious one smile and know they feel safe and connected with you is something you can't put into words.
