More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 10 years of childcare experience, ranging from newborns to 12th grade. I taught special education for over 6 years with the school district, which gave me extensive training in patience, individualized care, and developmental support. Before COVID, I was also a listed home childcare provider, caring for infants through school-aged children in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
I’ve worked with infants as young as a few weeks old, ensuring safe sleep practices, bottle feeding, and supporting early milestones. I’ve also cared for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children by helping with routines, engaging activities, homework, and positive behavior support. My background allows me to adapt quickly to each family’s unique style while maintaining a caring and professional environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in activities that are both fun and educational. With little ones, I enjoy tummy time, sensory play, singing, reading books, and exploring outside with stroller walks. For toddlers and preschoolers, I enjoy arts and crafts, story time, outdoor play, building forts, and simple cooking or baking projects. With older kids, I like to play board games, help with homework, encourage reading, do STEM activities, and take nature walks.
I believe children learn best when they’re having fun, so I like to create age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, independence, and curiosity. Whether it’s play-based learning, hands-on projects, or simply enjoying a good laugh together, I aim to make every day enjoyable and memorable.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment where children feel secure, supported, and free to explore. It’s not just about meeting their daily needs, but also nurturing their growth, encouraging their curiosity, and being a positive role model. At the same time, it’s about supporting the parents by providing reliability, consistency, and peace of mind, knowing their child is well cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
I have over 6 years of experience working with children with special needs, both in private care and in the school district setting. My background includes supporting children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and learning differences. I have experience adapting lessons and daily routines to meet each child’s individual needs, using strategies that encourage independence, communication, and confidence.
I also understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, structured environment. Whether it’s assisting with therapies, reinforcing social and life skills, or providing extra academic support, I strive to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I don’t have just one favorite nanny moment, because for me the most rewarding part is watching children grow and change over time. Whether it’s seeing a baby take their first steps, a preschooler learning new words, or a school-aged child building confidence in their own abilities, those little milestones add up to something so special. I truly love being a part of their journey and celebrating their growth year after year.
