A little bit about me

I'm a student in the Chicago area obtaining my master's in social work. I'm seeking part-time to occasional nanny work as I manage online classes and work at a behavioral services clinic. My background is in psychology at Lake Forest College. I was a preschool teacher at Advocate Condell for a few years before turning to full-time nanny work while taking cooking classes. I was training as baker to become pastry chef, so have plenty of culinary knowledge and meal planning. I decided to get back into psychology with my new internship and hope to find a great family to help in the journey.

As a mental health support assistant, we practice and encourage Mindfulness. The state on being in the present moment, being able to observe and describe without judgements to make better decisions effectively. I enjoy nature a lot, whenever weather permitting and appropriately (rain/heat/cold). I also enjoy doing science experiments, especially through cooking/baking. I'm not a fan on tv's, phones, and try to redirect to actual acivities.
