More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children through working at summer camps, babysitting for family members and neighbors, and helping care for my younger sisters. My most relevant experience has been growing up as the oldest of four girls and helping my single mom raise my two younger sisters, especially as she recently welcomed her third daughter. Being actively involved in their care has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment for children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing fun and stimulating activities with children while finding a healthy balance between technology, hands-on activities, and physical play. I like to build activities around a child’s individual interests so they can have fun while developing new skills and confidence. I also enjoy playing card and board games, doing creative activities, getting outside, and finding new ways to keep children active, curious, and engaged. I think be able to get out and explore is one of my favorite things to do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that the most important part about being a nanny is building a strong bond of trust with both the children and their parents/guardian. I believe a nanny should be someone a family can feel completely comfortable relying on, knowing that their child/children are safe, cared for, and sincerely valued. For the children, I think it’s important to cultivate an environment where they feel understood, respected, and comfortable expressing themselves while still having structure and healthy boundaries.

I would want to be someone who supports a child’s growth while also making their time together fun and enjoyable. Most importantly, I would treat every child with the same patience, kindness, and care that I would want someone to show my own family. Love, trust, and safety is priority!
