Corie
"Dajiara was an amazing caregiver for our children, who were 3 and 6 years old while she cared for them. She was dependable, patient, and truly cared about creating a safe and nurturing environment where they could feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. She was great at following our routines, communicating with us, and understanding our children’s individual needs and personalities. Dajiara planned fun and age-appropriate activities, helped with daily routines, prepared meals, encouraged learning through play, and made sure our children were always cared for with kindness and attention. What stood out most about Dajiara was the genuine connection she built with our children. They felt safe and happy with her, and we always had peace of mind knowing they were in her care. She is responsible, trustworthy, and someone any family would be lucky to have as part of their support system."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children through my previous nanny positions, babysitting, and as a Sunday School teacher for a youth class ages 3–5. As a Sunday School teacher, I was responsible for supervising young children, creating engaging activities, teaching age-appropriate lessons, and maintaining a safe and positive environment. This experience helped me develop patience, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple children while keeping them engaged and supported.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children that encourage creativity, learning, and confidence. Some activities I enjoy include reading books together, arts and crafts, sensory activities, outdoor play, nature walks, games, music and dancing, educational activities, and imaginative play. I also enjoy helping children explore their interests, learn new skills, and create fun memories while keeping them engaged in a safe and positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe every child deserves a caregiver who is patient, dependable, and genuinely invested in their growth and happiness. I enjoy building strong relationships with children, learning their personalities and interests, and helping them learn through play, creativity, and everyday experiences. It is important to me that families feel confident and at peace knowing their children are being cared for by someone they can trust.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have much experience, I have babysat my friends special needs brother whom is 2 years old.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was watching the children become more comfortable and confident with me over time. When I first started, I focused on building trust and learning their routines, personalities, and individual needs. Seeing them get excited when I arrived, want to share their toys and activities with me, and become more engaged during our time together was very rewarding. I loved being able to support their growth through play, learning, and everyday routines while becoming someone they felt safe and happy around.
