A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Dameka. I am a native of North Carolina and I love working with children. I have been a teacher for ten plus years in a daycare setting. I have worked with children from 6 weeks to school age. I have been a nanny for the past five years. I am CPR/ First Aid certified and I have a current SIDS certification . Along with being certified in CPR and First Aid, I also hold My early childhood credentials. Early childhood credentials simply means that I have studied to learn different activities and techniques to make sure that I am able to impact a child's ability to grow and develop to their fullest potential. Some of my hobbies include self-manicures, dancing and taking walks.

As mentioned, I was a teacher primarily, however I have done babysitting as well as nannying. I would also babysit for some of my families in the classroom whether they had a date night, office party or traveled out of town. I have always had a great rapport with my families.
