Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities depend on age with infants I like to read, do tummy time, sing songs and work with them on each milestone. Outdoor activities include walks in a stroller around a park or the neighborhood. With toddlers, I enjoy reading, doing age appropriate crafts, lots of play time outside, outings like story time at the library, and indoor play places and perhaps caregiver participation music and gym classes. For older children around pre k age if they aren’t in a school program we would take short periods of time out of our day to work on academic skills and find activities where the child would be able to have plenty of opportunity to build social skills such as playground and age appropriate play classes.

My favorite nanny moment is when I get to see my nanny kids achieve something they’ve been working on-weather that be an infant learning to crawl, a toddler learning a new word and saying it clearly or an older child accomplishing counting to 100 without missing any numbers.
