More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have provided trusted support to families and children for over 10 years. I began caring for children in early childhood education centers before pivoting to a more private role as a nanny. Throughout my 10+ year nanny career, 3 families have experienced my dedicated nurturing and guidance. Aside from providing excellent care to families through nannying, I’ve volunteered my free time to coaching youth in my city’s local cheer program, and served as the co-facilitator of a girls group aimed to assist young girls transitioning from elementary to middle school.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny, is carrying the understanding that families need trusted and consistent support for their children. Parents deserve to pursue their careers while raising families. They should not feel the need to choose one or the other, when they can actively do both. I love assisting loving parents in bridging the gaps, because children deserve attunement, care, and safety at all times of the day, and parents deserve that peace of mind while working to provide for their families.

My experience with special needs children...

I have 4 years of hands on experience with neurodivergent children, and provided patience and support throughout the diagnostic process. To better support these sweet children and aid through challenges, I collaborated with occupational therapists and mental health professionals in finding individualized strategies to meet their unique needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have many favorite moments, but one moment in particular stands out. The children in the most recent family I’ve worked with, purchased rollerblades for my 30th birthday and we all learned to skate together. Not only did I learn to skate, I also learned to play street hockey on said skates! (Note to parents interested in learning to rollerblade, be sure to avoid wet blacktop if you’re not interested in having a close encounter with the ground. You are never too cool for elbow pads and helmets. Protective gear is not just for children haha)
