Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy teaching kids how to cook, read, and draw! I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember, so doing creative projects with kids is one of my favorite things. I was also taught how to cook and bake from a young age, so I love sharing those fun and useful skills with children in a safe and hands-on way. I also really enjoy helping kids express themselves, because I believe feeling comfortable in your own skin is so important, something I truly value in my own life.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel cared for and confident to be themselves. I think it’s also essential to make sure the child never feels like an outsider and to give them the chance to explore new skills. Being patient, dependable, and a positive role model is key so kids know they have someone who truly supports and believes in them.

My favorite nanny moment was when a child I cared for got excited after cooking a simple recipe with me for the first time. Since they hadn’t spent much time in the kitchen before, it was a new and exciting experience. Seeing their confidence and smile made me realize how special it is to help kids learn and grow.
