Hi, my name is Daniella Gorny! I graduated high school in 2024 and am currently taking a gap year before attending Vanderbilt University in the fall, where I will be majoring in Special Education. I’m from Dallas, Texas but I will be in Brentwood, California for the summer and I’m looking for a job! I’m an experienced, passionate caregiver with a lifelong love for working with children. As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve naturally taken on a nurturing role from a young age. During high school, I dedicated my time to babysitting as well as volunteering with children with special needs—a passion that led me to found Basketball Buddies, an inclusive organization that creates a supportive space for kids of all abilities to enjoy sports together. Last summer, I furthered my commitment to youth development by volunteering at a camp for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
