Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done lots of volunteer work with children at church that included different kind of events, learning songs, dances and different performances, or just watching kids at a Sunday school and giving them lessons. I also had two little brothers growing up that I helped my mom with.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Outdoors, I like to go for walks (playgrounds) with kids. Indoors I like reading a book to a kid, or if family allows, watching a cartoon, making nice snacks, I also fluently speak Russian and Ukrainian, so I can even teach a different language, help with homework, you name it! Anything parents ask for I can do to provide a nice and warm environment for their children to make their kids feel comfortable and safe.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing is making a kid feel safe and comfortable. I understand that kids are different and some children might not like staying with a nanny as they would only like to be near their parent. But being a nanny, I think it is crucial to build a trusting relationship with a kid.
I also think that taking action that can interfere with the preferences of parents is unacceptable unless approved by a parent.
