Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a camp counselor for one season at Rolling Hills Day Camp. I, along with 2 other counselors were responsible for 14 5 year old girls.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love cooking and it is a passion of mine to teach the joys of it to children. If you'd like for me to prepare meals for/with your kids, please let me know! I have plenty of experience cooking for an array of needs and food sensitivities.

I'm a very active person who loves exploring all Brooklyn has to offer. I frequently visit the Botanic Garden, farmers market and local community gardens. I love riding my bike, visiting the beach, going rock climbing and practicing yoga.

My experience with special needs children...

For about 2 years I worked with a family of two children, one with autism and ADHD. While I mainly worked with his younger sister, we often had family activities such as cooking or playing in the park.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I worked very closely for a family in New Jersey while in high school. It was the two kids' dream to make a huge fort 'castle'. We collected all the blankets and pillows in the house, working together to make the most grand castle we could. Then we had a little dance party inside!
