A little bit about me

Hi I’m Danielle. I am originally from California and have moved around due to my husbands job. We will be moving to Raleigh early September and we are so excited! I have worked with kids for the last 10 years in some capacity. I have worked both as a nanny with a few families and as a gymnastics coach for a number of years. As a gymnastics coach I worked with large groups of children in every age range. I was in charge of managing the classes and our time spent on activities and I would coordinate camps and birthday parties on the side. I loved coaching because it was great to help the kids progress and learn new skills and I also enjoyed the fast paced environment. Most recently I have been a nanny in Kansas City and Washington DC before that. I am an outdoorsy and active nanny. I love going on adventures with the kids to zoos, playgrounds and other learning events. I am looking for a family willing to let me bring my son with me who was born in January 2024.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is being a trusted person for the family. Being reliable and a helpful hand for the parents. Being a working parent is hard and I think being someone they can rely on and trust to make sure their children are alright is so important. Also being an encouraging and present person for the children to help them build confidence and grow has been so rewarding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don’t have a single favorite nanny moment. But the most rewarding part of being a nanny is seeing the children learn and grow at every age. From new borns learning to walk and talk and absorb everything. To toddlers and kids learn and develop more skills and confidence in their abilities. But seeing a child who accomplished something new has to be the most rewarding.
